Hello Team PB,

There are so many great ways to see Australia.

In this email we have included Drew's Great Outback Hack - fly to Adelaide and then drive 500km through Barossa, Clare and over the Goyder Line to Broken Hill. Finish off with the cheapest per km train in Australia - the Broken Hill to Sydney train covers the same track as the Indian Pacific for one tenth the price.

Drew also reviews our current go to travel credit card from ANZ, which includes a free Virgin flight and 2 lounge passes for a modest A$225 annual fee. The killer feature is no 3% foreign transaction fee, which both Drew & Milton used extensively in New York.

Of course if you want points fast look at the Amex Qantas Ultimate Card. We still have 2 x 100,000 points referrals left by using this link.

Milton continues his October trip report series covering the SilkAir flight up to Danang and the Four Points Sheraton.

Congrats also to our first Amenity kit winner, Rachel! In November we are upping the stakes and giving away a Cathay Pacific First Class Bamford amenity pack.

Full price is just $138.61 for First Class and concessions are available. I believe it provides exceptional value. The train leaving Broken Hill is a great option as Broken …

The Four Points by Sheraton Danang is a quality five star hotel across the road from the beach and ocean views from all rooms.Given that I had signed up for the Marriott Platinum Elite Challenge and needed an additional 5 nights on top of my New York stays, the two choices in Danang were the Four Points by Sheraton and …

Review: ANZ Rewards Travel Adventures Visa Card

One of the biggest travelling mistakes is taking your everyday credit card or debit card overseas, potentially adding an extra 3% on to your travel spend. The ANZ Rewards Travel Adventures Card does not charge a foreign conversion fee and is now my go to card for overseas travel. I previously used the CommBank Diamond Amex that did not charge …

East Hotel Canberra - Go East Not West

Wow, what a refreshing hotel the East is in Canberra. It is amazingly well situated, a 5 minute walk to the shops, cafes and restaurants of Manuka. 10 minutes walk to Manuka Oval. 15 minute walk to the Old Bus Depot Markets and Lake Burley Griffith. Further afield, a 30 minute walk is Julie's favourite Calthorpes' House. But that's not what …
